Optimized power and water allocation in smart irrigation systems

Agriculture has a significant role in countries’ economy, but irrigation process consumes both power and water resources. Since agriculture the goal is to maximize crop’s yields with minimize costs, it important design national smart system optimal allocation of resources especially plantation area little rains. In this work, an optimized on-demand proposed manage consumed field. The controls by utilizing Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) collect real-time data from field using sensors. Raspberry pi takes appropriate decision about according received sensor nodes, commands are sent actuator nodes. Secured Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol Layer Security (TLS) authentication used managing exchange network over Wi-Fi technology. addition, consumptions formula derived Lagrange Multiplier method allocate way depending on watering demands. Both theoretical practical results approve efficiency optimally.
